i lied i wasn't in houstan i was in san antonio... yay...
we had a drive a humve to san antonio... it should have been an hour drive but we turned into 3 hours... we didn't get to sleep till 1am to only get up at 545am to wash face and get dressed to eat army chow... which was double blah...had formation at 730 and then headed to the confiedence course... it was freezing about 40 degrees... and i had no winter gear... love the military... oh man...
omg i'm so out of shape...this couse kicked my a**... so sore all over... i even got a bruise on my boobie... ouch... thats because i ran into things like a big log.. and a wall...and i can't climb rope... man i'm a loser... lol... but i didn't care i was so tired... next was our mre lunch i lucked out with tune yum... and off to the leadership course...
then after that it was dinner and not a movie but classes on land navigation... blah... we stayed there till like 9pm... and then i was off to bed of cots...
yes got to love the military for cots...
warm sleeping bags...
heat...
book reading...
trying to sleep...
but not getting any...
this weekend sucked but thats ok...
we endure...
next morning was a doozy but we had to get up at 530am clean the rooms, pack, clean the bathroom, eat, and get all the humvees lined up... mine has to get jumped everytime... i was given a dud... double blah... and a formation at 730... and off to the mountains for land nav course... by this time it was freezing cold...and we had to find these markers in the land... we walked through open areas and not so open areas... it was so boring again...
then we traveled another 2 hours home on the highways... it wasn't fun and then to wait another 2 to get released... when i got back home at 6pm i fell right to sleep... man i was pooped... i can't wait for out next drills... not... man i can't wait to ge out of the texas guard and transfer to a new one... cuz this is the worst unit i have ever been in... and i've been in the guard for 7 years not... well i'm out i have to shower and head off to work... and play photographer... yay!
